PawAI Team

The PawAI Team maintains the public guides and calculation methodology. We turn published veterinary and nutrition sources into explanations and tools that a pet owner can check and use.

The PawAI Team is not a veterinary reviewer.

PawAI’s articles are educational. A page only says “reviewed by” when a named, credentialed veterinarian has actually reviewed that page. If that line is absent, the article has not been veterinary-reviewed.

How the team prepares a PawAI guide

  1. Start with the decision the reader is trying to make, then answer it before adding background.
  2. Prefer primary or first-party sources such as veterinary associations, clinical guidance and peer-reviewed research.
  3. Show the source links, publication date and last meaningful update on the page.
  4. Keep diagnosis and treatment with the veterinarian who can examine the animal.

Corrections and updates

If a source changes or a guide is wrong, tell us. We correct the page, move its visible update date only when the content changes meaningfully, and keep health claims within what the cited evidence supports.
